A new lesson

well my first WIP just became a wet on dry project. I turned on the bright light in my shop to clean my palettes and saw that I had created hideous clumps of paint in my attempt to be fluid and lay in values. I had gone back and tried to change things on part of the painting after a few days, and essentially glazed over the paint that was there. I spent the last hour scraping as much extraneous paint off as possible. I will wait until it is dry enough to oil out and have another go. Time for a new composition. Something simple this time. Learning, learning. Merry Christmas!
