Looks great in all stages. You could leave it as is, as it stands strong and expressive. If you go further keep in mind not to lose the direct bold energy that you show now. Β ππΌππΌ
The single point of focus on the top of one eye of the glasses takes us right to the blurred and inscrutible eye. It's as though we're trying to see within the person beyond so it is very evocative. Tilt of the glasses - perfect. (although the other side of glasses don't yet match.)
Looks very promising @FredSantos love the brush stroken.
@JerryW, can you believe that every time I painted oil was a torture.Never liked the results. Someone could say that it's the artist course, I don't know. This thing, "one stroke and go one" make me feel different. I really enjoyed. I played with watercolor for a while, maybe it changed me.I don't know. What I know is this: I have fun this way. Oh yesssss!!!

Hi @FredSantos this may mean you have mastered something new, or you have solved another problem and found style and material that really works for you! I love it when the strokes remain makes things pop out and look strong! I tried acrylics for many years but found i need a totally new approach for oil. Keep up the great work!

Good sketches. Are you going for an expressive look?
