Retired and taking a new road!

Hello ...I have recently retired and decided to attempt something totally new! I have never even had an art class in high school much less any formal training. I stumbled across Marc Carders’ videos on YouTube and have been hooked ever since. The picture is my fifth attempt at an oil painting. The painting is of Joe Namath when he played at Alabama. I am a huge Fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide. I am trying to incorporate Marcs’ methods. I am a little blue/green color blind so I am a bit challenged at getting my color matching correct. Looking forward to getting some good advice here as I try out this new chapter in my life!
