Poor Brush Strokes

I just heard someone say "poor brush strokes".  I haven't had a belly laugh like that in years!  With the legitimate ones out there that number in the thousands, how can you tell a bad one?  I don't think I have ever come across a bad one in my life.  Anyone?  Am I about to learn a lesson in humility?  Thanks guys.  Summer

Probably the brush stroke in and of itself isn't poor or bad, but how it's used in a certain passage may be poor or bad.  I may have taken him too literally.  Hmm.

@Summer, here I tried to correct one poor brushstroke by applying 900 more.

I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt--haha--because I can't see myself giving a brush stroke a good spanking because it was bad.

@PaulB You have shown this before and I still think the painting can be saved if treated as an underpainting.

Well, it's dry.  It's just over a year old.

I should amend what I said to @summer: I think any brushstroke made with a comber brush is a poor brushstroke.  At least when you can tell it was made with a comber.  It's one step down from a fan brush.

True.  It would be a challenge.  If the motivation were only there, I can see this one moving forward.  I didn't think you had animal paintings in you, but certainly you have--haha.  He's so cute!

@PaulB I'm thinking "good brush"  "good strokes"  Takes time to learn how and where to use.  I do get your meaning, however.

I hope you will surprise us by having another go at the painting of the rabbit.

In the current political climate I'm surprised any one would dare use such a phrase as 
'poor brushstroke". A person could lose his job for such an inflammatory remark and be forever ostracized by society; driven from his home; refused service at all McDonalds worldwide even.
