Guess what I'm doing?

I identify two tertiary colors that I am using on my palette. Then, I go to the two opposite tertiary colors on the color wheel and select those two, and mix them with the first two. Now I have four colors mixed on my palette. Here I stop and think and ask myself which of the primaries is missing. I look at my four colors that I have already mixed and identify the primary color that is missing. I go to that missing primary on the color wheel and select its opposite/complement and mix it into my four colors. Now I have mixed five colors together. What have I done? Summer  :p
