Weird light holes in oil paintings

these holes appear on some of my pre-primed canvases as well.  I’m assuming their small cracks because I did not gesso correctly?  I was planning on taking them to an art fair to sell

I saw these holes only when I held the painting up to a light

Bummer!  Do we have any conservators among us?  I'd have to see these in person and look around your studio before commenting.  Could even be environmental having to do with drying time causing shrinking.  Or, something in the bristles of the brush before you begin painting causing stabbing.  Or a contaminated medium causing etching.  A real mystery.  Summer

Wet Canvas had a few things to say about pin holes: http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-304713.html  This reminds me of the guy who stored all of his paintings in a closet to cure for 30 years and when he pulled them out, they all looked like this.  Hmm.
