Storage and endless reuse of gesso, primer, varnish and toning paint, brushes - no waste or cleaning

Here is a good idea for having gesso, primer, varnish and toning paint on standby for instant use.

I could use six of these straight off. Brilliant.

Excellent! my experience using such jars, had to add my own seal of impermeable material on the inside of the cap to guarantee a perfect seal if the old one that originally came with it got damaged or tossed. Otherwise the contents went sour in shorter period of time, in this case you may lose your brush too. And it was better to use a glass jar, plastic caps are great, they don't rust and hot glue works better on these.

    Thanks for the comment.

At $1 each these are sacrificial brushes. I'll keep an eye on the paint and add a seal if required.

  • Thank you Denis! Excellent idea...
