Hello everyone.  I am new  to painting. I feel intimidated to post work as the site contains a lot of really great art and I feel I do not compare. However I'm going to post something just to get some input thank you for your time.

Welcome to the forum @Lulushin, Everyone posting their fantastic paintings here felt intimidated at the start as you do. Will you be using Mark Carder's method? Most here do.

I'm trying to. My painting is from a photo... not a realism painting. More impressionistic I think. I hope to work into doing realism. Taking lots of information from Marks videos.

Welcome to the forum. This space is a painting workshop for learning and enjoyment, not a presentation space primarily, though Mark features a few finished works that are representative of the method.

Yours is cleaner, more stylised with smoother curves. I prefer your version to the original.

I really can't draw... I used the proportional divider ... btw the scale of my painting is much larger than the reference. Love the tool!
