This is a quickie I did today. It's painted from a photo I took recently. The pond is in reality further to the right and not in the photo but I moved it into the picture because I wanted a reflection of the moonlight. I found it really hard to include something that wasn't in the photo I was working from. I had to imagine how our pond would look under the moonlight. I will take another photo of our pond under moonlight and see if I can make a better painting of it. This one is not as good as Kaustav's "Moonlight Sonata
" - I should have made everything darker - but I learned something from doing it and from seeing Kaustav's.
