Had the opportunity to have lunch and spend some time with Gary and his wife Nancy yesterday. Nancy is really nice, very pleasant. We had a great meal. Marcia and I enjoyed it a lot.

Nancy and I had a great visit with Gary and Marcia on a beautiful section of beach along the Atlantic coast of north-central Florida. They have staked out a great location for their winter visits here that is literally right on the beach. Gary and Marcia are super nice. We had a wonderful time and look forward to seeing them again next year....hoping they can come down to the big art festival we have in Mount Dora in early February but we love going to the beach as well. You should see the fishing rigs Gary has set up .... the man is into surf fishing!

Picture below has Nancy and I on the left and Gary and Marcia on the right. You can tell it's winter in Florida...we have our long pants on instead of shorts!

It's almost spring Mavis......most of the folks in the United States would claim Florida doesn't have any seasons but we do...two seasons actually, hot and warm!! \:D/

Hey, great pic. Shows off my big belly. We had a great visit with great folks. Gary impressed me with his knowledge of the painting process. It shows how much Mark's process can impart knowledge to anyone that is willing to put forth the effort and patience to learn. Marcia and I have been blessed with the opportunity to be able to do our winter visits to Florida. I know that today many are not able to have that luxury. We hope to be at the art festival next year also. BTW, caught 7 more fish today. lol ">

Bubba G, I am jealous that you got to meet Gary before I did! We have been emailing and supporting each other for years now and I have yet to meet him in person. I am sure it will be like meeting someone I have known my whole life when I do!

I thought you liked to travel on the edge Liz. Anyway, for us hillbillies hooking up means meeting, catching a big fish or attaching the mobile house to the truck. Come on down, but I go home end of the month. O:-)

Hey Bubba G.....how many fish dinners this week? At the rate you catch them you'll need to add a large freezer to your 5th wheel! :-bd Wish I had taken a picture of your fishing trolley .... folks not familiar with surf fishing would get a kick out of seeing the equipment. If you get time, have Marcia take a pic with you standing next to the trolley and post it!

Hey Gary, I will try to get a pic. Been cold and windy for a couple days. Played golf yesterday but did get a nice Pompano day before on a sand flea, (mole crab). Weather to be nice today and hope to get some pics to use for painting down around Bulow State Park. As far as the freezer, my catch rate equals consumption. lol
