Help read the signature on the painting

Hello, I need help identifying the author of this piece. It would be very much helpful if anyone could read the signature or at least recognise the letters. Thank you in advance. 
I read it as D. (being the initial of a name) and then the first letter as either F or T, but I might be wrong.

I can't read it. However, I know a bit of art history and am good at recognising the works of different painters even if I can't see the artist's signature so if you would care to post a picture of it I might be able to help.

The longer i look at the signature the more it looks like D.T. Doench 1910.
Though the only Doench paintings I can find are art nouveau illustrations of demure girls.
As well as the image, can you provide any information from the back of the image or frame?

I think the 2nd capital letter is an F, looking at penmanship taught in the late 1800's, which goes along with both the upper and lower case D. As others, I'd love to see a picture of the painting! That could be run through google images.
