All,
This morning LIz and I were talking about the filming while we paint. I told her that yesterday I bought a new JVC HD video camera that fits in the palm of your hand for about $150 at Costco. It's an awesome little camera and great for filming in a studio because it's so small. She wanted to know how you do things like split screen and picture in a picture, which is really easy with iMovie. So I took just a few second of footage I shot in our kitchen yesterday and of FeeBee our nasty little cat. We have a nice cat too but this is the one that bites everyone. I was stunned when I played back the slow motion video of Feebee. I did NOTHING to the audio except slow it down. I was laughing so hard I was crying. I put some music to it. I hope you enjoy it as much as I am.

Yeah, so Garry calls me back to say how cool this is and I just have to check it out. Scared my poor kitty half to death and he spent the rest of the afternoon on my lap! )

Wow! Does this mean if you speed up the sound of a tiger growling it will sound like a little cat?

Please don't encourage Garry...he will be at the zoo trying to climb in the big cat cage to get video of them roaring at him to speed up!

That's one of the reasons I love cats - they are THIS close to being one of their bigger, wilder cousins.

I once had a customer that felt compelled to express his dislike for cats whenever Snowshoe came close or jumped up on the sales counter. He said his wife had a cat, and he would tell her, "If that thing was bigger, it would eat you!" :-O
