Premix paint in puddles.

I was thinking of putting premixed paint in puddles in this thing of porcelain, in order to simplify things. For rows could be equivalent for four different object in a still life or something similar. After mixing it is just to put the colours in place on the canvas. Do you think it would be too much of a simplification?

Welcome to the forum. Good idea, anything that provides some order or method will help.

Hi @Hansj, the pre mixing is for the basic  value strings of colour but you might find that you need to do additional mixing as you go along, using colours from the value strings and your primaries,to find the exact colour for the exact spot you are working on.

Why thank you. I have noticed that all order added helps to get into the painting process. There are still so many parameters to consider so simplification is an important aid.
