I hope I have captured some realism in this drawing. I spent about 3 hours on it. I've been struggling with my painting so decided to focus on drawing for awhile.

    Great sketch.

    I thought I spent too long on a drawing when it passed five to six hours.

    I then discovered Anthony Ryder would normally put in 20 to 30 hours on a pencil drawing. Gulp.

    After taking Darrell Tank's drawing courses I am not surprised at the time it takes.
    Values form slowly with a 4H pencil.
