Portrait and still life in charcoal

Portrait "Peace in the Storm" I was going through a difficult time. My faith is my Peace in the Storm. "Vanitas" study in whites. (drawing is not as grainy as photo) both drawings are done in charcoal and white chalk pencil.

thank you Summer and Oilpainter1950. I like doing drawings that have a theme or a meaning. This one was really different for me. "Timekeeper's Dilemma," white chalk on Black paper. Very crazy, You remove for black and add for white. It throws your mind. I am working on a graphite about "fragile". I have two in mind for that subject so far.
