I only noticed the perspective in the was off when I framed it. The drawing was off too and I think the photo I took also. Would that be due to the angle I took the photo from ?
Very lovely work. Peaceful. The castle you could call the Leaning Tower of.... Remember that lots of liberties have been taken with art creations over the centuries. I have a leaning tree in my yard that you wouldn't believe, so I never paint it.
marieb Its been awhile since I've been here but decided to check it out today. These painting are beautiful. Are they oil, or watercolor? Makes no difference they are still wonderful.
Very nice paintings! It looks as if it is possible to apply DMP to W/C as well? To me W/C seems so much more difficult than oil... but I don't really know ... Thanks for showing marieb.
Thank you all so much for the lovely comments. SusiQ I haven't been here much over the last year but I remember you. These are watercolor. After all the bother of setting up my carder method studio I have not done any oil in over a year. Going to change that soon EstherH you couldn't do W/C Marks way because you couldn't do the steps. After yrs of W/C I am doing an acrylic at the moment, trying to remember how to mix paint with white ! thanks summer. @dencal I thought the left hand side of the castle looked as if it was getting bigger towards the top..perhaps it is just my imagination, I have an overactive one !
@shypoet, thank you so much for your comment. @MikeO , I live in Dundalk, east coast half way between Dublin and Belfast. It is not actually part of a Castle but part of a Monastery. Probably served same purpose. The name in Irish is "Monastry Road.Lots of Townlands, Towns, buildings, were re-named, or had new names given to them based on how the names sounded in English. It is around the corner from me, literally. So much wonderful scenery in Ireland.
@marieb I didn't know how to refer to it. My Mom was from Belfast and though I've been to Ireland many times I've mostly been on the west coast. I've never been to Dundalk.
Irleand is beautiful and green and perfect for hiking (and a lot of other things...). I went on an Island called Clare Island with a Hotel in a Lighthouse. A magical and wild spot to be...
@marieb Just thought I'd mention that I'm a little Irish, Belfast, on my father's side. People always mistake me for Irish though. Hope that I don't get an "off-topic" for this--haha.

Whose bin a busy gal then?
Nice work.
The castle is fine from a three point perspective viewpoint.
