The exhibition opens on June 30th. 90 paintings, some from private collections. Anybody planning to attend? Looks like a must see event. I surely hope to get there!!
I'm planning on going with my daughter this week, maybe Thursday. I almost went today, but my daughter had plans. I think the lecture was at 3PM, right in the middle of her cello lesson.
I sometimes work at the Pierrepont-Morgan Library, they have a couple of Sargent works, I've gone and taken super close up photos to look at the brush strokes.
I finally made it over to this exhibition. Wow. So many great paintings. There were many oil paintings, very impressive, and the watercolors were amazing.
