Thanks Rona. Yes, I did get the memo. The committee feels that the best way for Martin to overcome his eggplant aversion is for him to face the fruit head on.

Why do you people paint things so darkly? My eyes have a hard enough time seeing in normal light...I often try to put on a pair of eyeglasses to see better, forgetting that I'm already wearing a pair!! :-B

I love this painting Garry, the colours are amazing, you couldn't have got that beautiful rich aubergene colour with Mark's palette, it looks as though you've used an extra violet, which violet was it? =D> You probably say in your video but I haven't had time to watch as I'm ducking in and out of the forum during my work hours, hope I don't get caught!!!

@Pop - I just had to laugh. I do the same thing. Probably the only thing that keeps me from being fired is that I'm so close to retirement they don't want to bother with the hassle (I'd just claim age discrimination!)

If you just copy the name exactly and put @ before the name (no space between @ and the name, it should work.

Christine, thanks for all the kind comments. I was using alizarin, ultramarine, and mauve blue shade (W&N), I think. The mauve is what you're seeing as violet.
