Yet again, you blow my mind away with your realism.
Clearly you have a good knowledge of the subject as well as an observant eye.   Were they painted by real life, or photos, or both?

@PaulB, these are just stunning in terms of, composition, color, draughtsmanship ...  And the realism is amazing! 'Eryngium" is my favorite but they are all incredible.  I'm blown away at the technical level you have reached. Well done you!

@PaulB - Individually, they are wonderful. But: displayed together on a wall - spectacular! Each has its own best composition, and they are all different. The eryngium is supernatural. I really like all of these, ownership lust has started, and now even worse I want to do some flower studies too! You have shown me that close up flowers can be infinitely interesting. More, please.

Delicate and brilliantly arranged and lighted.  I have watched your work progress over about the last five years.  The paintings I have seen in the beginning, the one of your basement and then Cinque Terre absolutely blew me away.  Your technical skills astound and now your creativity combined with those technical skills have now taken your art to a whole new level.  I love each and every one of your paintings, and these florals are beyond beautiful.

Wow! The detail is fantastic and the contrast of the deep, rich colors against the dark background make these jump off the screen. 

Abstraction

Each painting is exquisite use of light, colour, form, depth, texture, transparency, chiaroscuro, form. They just delight the heart. You have a delicate touch with your work.
