I love the contortions of the branches in this, @geoffrey_38. The whole thing writhes and twists. It's powerful. And I like the way the path leads us deeper into the picture. After we negotiate our way past those living branches.
Missed this earlier. I like this. It reminds me of a book illustration. I imagine I can hear things rustling in the bush down the bank, but not see them. It seems cool and dark and a little spooky in the shadows, but the heat of the sunlit path ahead makes it a short lived and bearable spooky.
Really nice. I like the way you keep it loose in some areas and tight in others and also the path going from light with shadow to dark and back to light at the end.
Really nice painting. I love the light and shadow on the path and the entrance at the end of the tunnel with all those twisted branches reminded me very much of the poem "Jabberwocky" by Lewis Carroll. Well done!
