I like this, something about it. Maybe the colours or the way it was painted. There's not much detail but that's what i like about it, the sea is painted nicely with the horizontal brush strokes. Good job Alan
The problem is the rocks don't look like rocks. I had this problem before. Have you tried scraping part of the rock to get a 3-D effect? Was that a blue ground you used?
the rocks need to be painted back by using the blue and beige around them to define them. Good point. No idea what the blue is…it’s gouache mixed with white house paint.
