Yes, this is a very early Banksy and has since been copied and put in many buildings across the land.


  • I visited one museum recently, and they had a thematic set in a hallway. Around ten artworks, all large formats, Degas, some of his contemporaries thought not impressionists, and... one Twombly. The latter was a real laugh because it was the only painting protected by a fence. My only explanation is that too many normal people tend to think of such works as of those DYI workshops in museums when everyone can contribute and scribble some more on it. But... where's art?
