I think you’ve found your niche with this one. The arrangement, the color, pattern and interest is all working. The figure fits perfectly with the still life. The expression on the figure also fits with the character of the still life. I even like the placement of the figures hands. You included her left hand at the very bottom right of the canvas. This has a feeling of someone who understands “the rules” and has intentionally broken them to express the feeling.
