Going abstract, but still use still life as a sketching tool.

Hi, I cannot explain my gratitude to Mark Carder and his teaching method. From a primary colour perspective, I patiently learnt to see life in the truth. Here is a geometric abstraction utilizing pure and dirty colours. I suggest taking the length of a room to appreciate this.

I like it! My eyes dart all over it and particular squares become worlds of their own as I focus on them. The brush strokes being different directions is I think why this happens. For some reason, this work makes me think of when I was a little kid. Well done.
