My DSLR decided to throw its shutter last week, possibly as I may have dropped it!! So I put off uploading any pics. My phone doesn't have a great camera but I thought sod it.
The attitude of the head is great. It adds a lot of life and movement to the figure. Your outer edges are really crisp which works well with the hard surfaces.
My son would have this on his bedroom wall in a shot😉
How are you mounting or framing your finished paintings? How thick is the board? It looks like it has a texture to it. Kind of like linen. How well does the MDF hold up? Do they warp?

At present, they arent being framed. I only frame it if I sell it and the client wants it framed. I use thicknesses from 3mm to 6mm. So far no issues in longevity and none of my paintings have any warping. The texture I sometimes add with the last coat of gesso, there is no plan to it, if the last coats texture looks good I keep it, otherwise it will get sanded smoother.

Continuing the theme, another recently completed one.
Oil on board 16.5 x 10.5 inches.
I give you the Mandalorian!
The saga continues lol!
I feel these two have a distinct pop art feel to them.
No, I paint on mdf board, first sized with GAC 100 on all sides and then 3 coats of gesso.
