On Vacation with Paint

Yah! and I get to use my Pochade Box . I have tried it at local area’s with oils but this trip I brought Gouache to try. So far I like using gouache but I’m not happy with the set I bought to try. It’s gel cups and not as compact as I wanted….. here’s a couple of pic’s, just thought I’d share and I welcome any suggestions on useing Gouache and on which type to use  thank you..

Yes it is 😎… and the fog has been wonderful! Thank you for the nice comments , I’m wanting to use these to take home for larger oils @allforChrist

Really good plein air work, @joydeschenes. 

There was a member here some time back, @gar3thjon3s, who painted almost exclusively in gouache who also did beautiful work.

Thanks @tassieguy , it’s been a nice week and headed home tomorrow. I’ll look them up for past posts and maybe more info on gouache.

Thanks @Abstraction , I finished that one and gave it to the gal that run’s the place  . Thanks again @tassieguy for the info .. looked him up and he has amazing gouache sketches and hints for types to use.
