My friend asked me to do this painting 
Of his dog Bazel, the photo wasn't that great but it was the only one he had when Bazel was younger,  hope I've successfully done justice, painted in oil on canvas from his photo sent to me on Instagram .

Technically, you've done well.  I think you could help it artistically if you would soften some edges, especially around the head and down the back, which would help move those areas "to the back."  Nice work.

Well you weren't wrong about the photo lol!  You've done really well to capture the expression. My only suggestion would be the whites of the eyes seem a little too big and too white.

Thanks jay80 for your comments,the eyes are correct, I use a porportional divider and colour checker to make sure I paint to the photo given if it's a commission.
