Does anybody know how Mark Carder obtains warm and cool temperature with just the five colors he uses? I use the same set up but for the three primaries I have warm AND a cool.

Mark's system can mix the majority of the colours found in nature. It's weak on strong greens and orange learning reds though.

I'd be careful with warm and cool primaries. You get more mixing range with a secondary palette:

hi. You can mix almost any Color with warm and cool variations using marks mixing palette, including your warm and cool tube Colors. Check his video about mixing any Color. You don’t need the warm and cool versions of the primaries to do the dmp method.
