I'm in the process of going through the You Tube videos and setting up a 'real' studio based on the suggestions/directions that Mark has provided but will have to modify it somewhat due to space constraints. I also will be trying the Geneva paint and canvas stain. That said, I am looking forward to getting the course started soon. Thanks
Thanks. I painted it years ago and this is the first time I have ever shown it to actual artists. I just retired from culinary arts, although I still teach as an adjunct at a community college in Pittsburgh. Painting has always been something I love to do and I joined this group in an effort to meet serious artists that feel the same as I do about art and to learn from them. The paintings I see Mark do and his free lessons have inspired me as does some of the incredible paintings I have seen on this site. Most of the paintings I have done are rather surreal like this one or simple landscapes so I didn't want to post them on the 'post your paintings' because they are not realism and I still have much to learn! Thank you so much for your comments, I feel like I'm in the right place. Bill
