I like the dramatic lighting and the copper color. The circular shadow is an interesting effect too.

Abstraction

This is a lovely balance between suggestion in the lost space and edges and the very satisfying crisp detail; the colourlessness and the rewarding flecks of colour. Particularly that golden warmth, in the foreground and that delightful reddish reflection further back. And in terms of actualising the two metals in a painterly way...
