what does your art business card look like?

Hello everyone!

I am thinking of getting a new design for my business cards, for when i start selling again... i got them printed twice before, but don't like them much. This time I'm planning to get a square one and also get a QR code printed on the information side (latest trend i hear). Would love to see yours.. In art fairs i used to collect them from art stalls.. i think artist's business cards are especially interesting?

Yes I still really like cards too. In these days of social media there’s something nice about having an actual card.

I sometimes leave mine in cafes on the tables.

I have, on 2 occasions got mini cards from moo.

Probably about half the size of a usual card, the great thing is you can have a large variety (i forget the specific number) of different images on the back at no extra cost.

So I got a lot of my works put i them.

Its easy to do on thier site, and I think it was a very good price with that option.

I went for the gloss as it helps the small image stand out.

Yes I think I have used as book mark

I do like the variety too.

I cant recall the exact numbers but if I ordered around 75 and I have put I say in 20 images, they just repeat the 20.

So its a good wee variety selection

In desperation a few months ago, I cut up printed proofs (of paintings I used for my calendar). Once I had 50 or 60 cut out, I hand wrote my information on the other side over a series of boring evenings! I swore I would get the next lot professionally printed. although, I have had a few positive comments on them.
As I understand it, having chatted with a few printers, unusual shapes cost more since there is more waste of card. Also, many people want cards they can fit in their wallets so unusually shaped cards can be more readily thrown away, or not collected initially.
