That's coming along splendidly, @kaustavM. Colours and values are singing together nicely. The subdued colours look more realistic than the bright, high chroma colours in the initial sketch/study. It's a pleasing composition, too.
@Richard_P and @tassieguy thank you guys! Color is not that subdued. Saturation got a little weaker due to no sunlight. But it is more atmospheric in nature compared to the sketch. The whole painting fell on my palette and now has blobs of Prussian blue, white and yellow!
Oh, dear, I'm sorry that happened. It will take some time to correct things besides being discouraging, but I know you will correct all the problems and we will get to enjoy the finished painting.
Hi everyone and thanks @Marik@ArtistMartin1@Jan_D. Here's another update of this. I'm into modelling and at present started working on the land section. Will be dealing with shape+error correction and atmosphere in the end.
Thanks @tassieguy I'm trying to replicate a 19th century technique of keeping the thin darker underpainting intact and paint with thick opaque paint on top of it. Also use scumbling and dry brush excessively. Getting used to it now more and more.
Well you have succeeded with the 19th C feel. I was going to mention that in my post above but wasn't sure if that was what you were aiming for. I think it works well.

I think your color is nature itself. I can feel the heat.
Dry glazes or scumbled Mark's for atmospheric effect.
beautiful
Awards look great on an artist's CV.
