Hi everyone. English is not my native, so sorry for any mistakes. Improving my “studio” place. This a compact palette / paint keeping box - 28 x 25 cm, just the size to fit into freezer and still be in good relationships with my wife. I use it as a regular palette that could be extended if needed (both the box and the lid are glass) and as a box for keeping unused paint.
When you take the box out of the fridge will condensation form on the paint surface? Will you need to take it out some time prior to painting to evaporate that condensation? Or is this for acrylic paint?
@GTO on the day when I paint, I take it out in the morning. Never used it immediately after taking out of the fridge. l guess a couple hours is enough time for the paint to come to its normal condition.
Any solvent or aromatic such as clove oil will taint the food in your fridge/freezer. Suggest a separate fridge or redesign with an airtight palette box made of safety glass and silicone with rubber seal.
