Best Darkest Black Studio Paint

Any advice on the most absorptive, blackest, paint that can be used to reduce unwanted glare etc. for use in the studio, on walls, shadow boxes, easels etc?

Use Drapery. You can take that down when you realize you don't need a darkroom to paint in.  :)

Any recommendations for having as much control (full control is ideal) as possible of the lighting of objects in the shadow box as well eliminating any unwanted reflections, ambient lighting, and specular highlights exhibited by them?

You can do all that scriming with black foam board and drapery. It's pretty easy with a couple of light stands. Black masking tape and some small black clamps. And of course you can choose to ignore some reflections while painting.

In the book Art & Fear the actors propose that most of our rules we must observe to make art are actually procrastination. This forum is a form of procrastination. Right now I'm procrastinating fixing the toilet

So really any black will do to paint the foam board, that masking tape, and small black clamps?  :)
