I've been intrigued with artist scaling tools all of my career. In 2008 I started a project to digitize some on the analog devices I had used over the years. I did a proportional scaling wheel then gave up. I've been hacking around with this for the last five years. I've bought at least a dozen different variation on this and they all suck for the most part. I wanted a pair of dividers that had scaling settings for 4 to 1, 3 to1, and 2 to 1. The most common need in scaling from standard sized prints. A little math and a 3d printer and I made it. Scales 4, 3, 2.5, 2 and 1.5 to 1. Very accurate. Thank you Mrs. Eddy, my high school geometry teacher. I'm planning on making this available online for people to print for themselves

Not yet. But sometime this winter. Still a few bugs to work out.
