Hello everyone!
Here's my first medium sized painting for 2021

I think i was in some sort of mental hurry and finished it too fast without taking the proper care i usually do, so there will be a lot of rough edges:D
The painting is 11"x14". I wish the bigger bowl was a little more to the left. I have kept the gladiolus blooms at the back more muted (however it doesn't seem that day in the photo). Also in the photo the oranges in the flowers "pop" too much, in the painting it is a bit more natural. (Decreasing the saturation too much was affecting the bowls

so i let the flowers pop). the bottom of the painting isn't as dark as in the photo

Suggestions welcome!

The lighting was the same though, daylight light from the window... do you see some discrepancy? please do let me know
It may simply be in the lack of color influence in the highly reflective bowls. It could be in the softness of the photograph. Either way its a good painting.
your flowers are a joy to behold.
