1914ish Photo - Charcoal reproduction

This a bout 3 hours of work trying to get proportions correct.
The story behind this group portrait is that the little girl in the picture is my grandmother with her brother on the right side. The man in the pic is my Great grandfather. I am using Generals charcoal pencil on watercolor paper 140# hot press - Fabriano Artístico. I will be posting the progress of this drawing until completion.

Really coming along nicely!  If I may ask a question @jcortezjr1068, did you use some kind of paint for the background before beginning your charcoal drawing?  It looks to be a bunrt umber wash?

It’s looking good.  I wonder if the children’s crossed feet were planned when the photo was taken?  You’ve captured your great grandfather’s likened superbly.
