I did this yesterday....probably will do one today, tomorrow and day after. Not to spend more than an hour, that's the idea.

An hour time limit is a great idea! I should try it. I'm kinda scared of doing portraits 😟
By the way, loved the colors 💕

Thanks @maveraulalem get rid of the fear. Just get a transparent earth color, a white and a black. Make someone sit for half an hour and paint their portrait. just do it as much as possible like everyday.

This is not more than 15 minutes. Very difficult to do a portrait of a child.

Thanks @ArtGal I use a quick drying linseed oil but use very little of it.

These are really good,@KaustavM. I don't know how you manage to get a likeness in such small paintings. But you do.

@tassieguy thanks. I focus on doing rather than thinking about likeness though. Sometimes that angers some of the sitters.

Thanks @oilpainter1950 and @tassieguy I use mostly the smaller daggers, bristle rounds, flats for these.
