Walking in the woods at lower beacon hill (12" x 16") - Acrylic

After practising with my acrylics on several landscape paintings I have attempted my most ambitious subject yet which took a lot more time than the others. This is from a photo that I took earlier in the year where the dappled light made beautiful patterns in the trees when we were walking in the woods.

The brush strokes are smaller and there are a lot more of them, but I still tried to kept the abstraction close up. This was done with just one round 5 brush as I liked the marks it made and my student grade acrylics.
