Portrait critique needed

I've been working on the attached portrait of myself and my wife.  The painting of my wife looks pretty accurate, but something is wrong with my portrait.  This is the first self-portrait I've tried, and I just can't get it right.

I'm posting the reference photo, the painting, and a closeup of my face.

What I'm seeing right now is that the eye on the viewer's left is not right and that ear is too low.  The inside corner of that eye needs to be raised a bit and there needs to be a bit of reshaping of the eye.  Also the nose around the nostrils isn't right.

Agree?  What else do you see?
