Hi everyone.
I am 35 years old and I majored in computer engineering and had my master's degree in project management. After a hand injury two years ago, I decided to have some major changes in my life. Now, it has been almost a year since I seriously started to focus on studying painting on my own. After deciding to focus on painting, I started to grasp the vastness of knowledge that I must learn such as, how to use brushes, mix colors, prepare canvases, draw perspective, build layers, etc. Of course, since childhood I did some watercolor paintings, but it was only 1 or 2 paintings in a year. That is why it's a huge struggle for me to understand oil painting. As a beginner, please bear with me.
Thank you!

I really like your painting. The colour and composition are great and I'm amazed that you can achieve such vibrancy and texture with watercolor.
I look forward to seeing more of your work.
Funnily enough I'm experiment with watercolours from oils. Good to experiment with different materials and techniques. I've been creating art all my life and I am still learning, it is a vast scope of knowledge and emotions to embrace.
Welcome to the Forum.
