The playing card, pig, pencil painting is 5x7 water color still life from shadow box. Random objects. No meaning to the picture. A study of contrast, color, texture and composition.  Not great in any way but  fun, and a great reminder of why I prefer oil over water. Being told at a young age that I was good at art but a cynical jerk, I have tried to improve. DMP is so inspiring that some day I might learn to even love art. I'm still a jerk.  In spite of my silly attitude, I sincerely want to express my appreciation for the DMP family and this forum.
