SummerI was leafing through a book titled "101 Artist's Techniques". A challenge caught my eye. Paint a snowscene with only a teaspoon. Do you think such a thing is doable?Denis
I ran across this quote today that I thought may be relevant for my
landscape painting above. "Try
to create new forms. Be creative. Make everything you paint your own.
Not natures. Not somebody else's. If you paint leaves on a tree, make
them your own leaves. Not nature's. Not some body else's. Make them
the kind of leaves nobody else ever saw before. Yet, everybody will
know they are leaves." Ben Stahl.
Are we going to see a 3rd DMP painting from you soon Summer?
Don't know if I agree wholeheartedly with that. It doesn't sit well with "paint what you see" but I guess it's ok to paint HOW you see it if that is what he means.
