The glare is killing me... I can't seem to get a really good photograph of my painting if im using dark colors. I just finished a portrait in which the background is raw umber - and the reflection from the lights is terrible. I positioned the lights in all kinds of positions and i still get that terrible light reflection glare. If i darken the painting i lose some glare but then i lose the details of the painting. Is there anyway around this? Is it my white walls thats the problem? If I put up black curtains will that help? Also, I remember in one of Mark's video's he mentioned how the Geneva paint doesn't glare...
